Julieane Cook grew up in Thiensville, Wisconsin graduating from Homestead High School in Mequon. She attended the University of Iowa on a Dance Scholarship and earned a BFA in Dance and BA in Elementary Education in 2006. After graduating, Julieane accepted a position as a third grade teacher in Sycamore, Illinois. While teaching there for four years, she focused on literacy, technology, and building relationships and programs with the Spanish speakers in the English Language Learner Community. She received her Masters in Education from National-Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction in 2009. While teaching 3rd grade, Julieane cofounded the Northern Illinois Dance Center and was the artistic director overseeing 150 dancers, ages three to eighteen. Julieane moved back home to Wisconsin to teach fifth grade in Greendale, Wisconsin. She has lead several staff development initiatives over the last five years, including both reading and technology. Julieane graduated as a Burke Fellow in the Alverno Leadership Program in May of 2016. Julieane believes that all students can learn and reach their full potential with our school and community's guidance, support and faith in God. She lives in Waterford with her husband, Mike, daughter, Lizzie, and son, Sam. She is looking forward to meeting all of the families of St. Martini Lutheran School and continuing on our many strong traditions of excellence.
Jordan Eggleson is from the small town of Sycamore, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2011 with a degree in Urban Education and a Middle School Math Endorsement. Her first teaching position was under the leadership of Julieane Cook as a 3rd grade teacher at St. Martini Lutheran School. In the years following, she taught 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th grades in various capacities while gradually taking on more responsibilities as a school leader. In 2016, she joined the St. Martini leadership team full time as an instructional coach. Jordan received her Masters in Education from Alverno College through the Burke Fellowship in May of 2017. She loves working with the students and families at St. Martini Lutheran School. With God and the support of her staff, she is excited to take on her new role as Assistant Principal.
